Relative pronoun “where”
Yer isimleri niteleneceği zaman at which veya in which yerine where kullanılabilir.
The hotel where the president stays is the most expensive hotel in the city. Başkanın kaldığı otel şehirdeki en pahalı oteldir.
The village where I was born has at least a hundred bouses. Doğduğum köyde en azından yüz tane ev vardır.
Bu iki cümleyi oluşturan cümleleri görelim:
1. The hotel is the most expensive hotel in the city. The presiden stays in that hotel.
2. The village has at least a hundred houses. I was born in that village.
The children are going to build the building where they will have their lessons.
The mosque where my father and I go very often has very high walls and very wide doors.
